The House of Sports has appointed long-time Baseball Director, Dale Mueller, as the Director of Programming.  In this management level role, Mueller will supervise all sports Directors and oversee all House of Sports run programming including sports classes, teams, camps and leagues.
“Since the House of Sports opened, Dale has been the model sports Director in terms of quality of programming, customer experience and leadership,” Frank Lombardy, House of Sports General Manager said.  “In his new role, I am excited for Dale to take his years of coaching knowledge and passion for youth sports to mentor all House of Sports Directors and coaches.”
After spending 3 years as an educator at The Hackley School, Mueller joined the House of Sports as the Baseball Director in September 2011, a full year prior to the opening of the building.  As the Baseball Director, Mueller played a key role in leading an academy program that operates a successful class, team and camp program.  Mueller is known in the Westchester area as one of the leading baseball instructors and coaches.
In keeping with the House of Sports mission to offer quality programming to all youth athletes, Mueller launched an off-season baseball training program for local Little League organizations in the Winter of 2017.  In its inaugural season, this initiative saw hundreds of Westchester County Little League players train at the House of Sports.
Prior to his coaching and Director career, Mueller was a standout baseball player Butler University where he was a 3-time First-Team All Conference member and 2005 Player of the Year.  After graduating from Butler, Mueller played three years of professional baseball and earned a championships each season.
"As a former player and professional, I'm attuned to the needs of kids' physical and mental development in this important time of their life - and believe in the power of sports to guide that journey, Mueller said. "It's my job to make sure we have best-in-class coaches, and systems in place to give each athlete the best experience to aid in their development."
As the Director of Programming, Mueller will ensure the quality, value, safety and consistency of all sports programming, and enforce company policy to deliver a first-in-class customer experience.  Mueller will also continue to directly run the House of Sports Baseball department.  Mueller will start this new role immediately, and can be reached via email at or by phone at 914-479-5419.  Mueller resides in Westchester County with his wife and two children.
