General Guidelines & Rules

Guidelines

  • Each team must have a coach on the sidelines. Coaches are responsible for thier players.
  • Must provide your own jersey
  • Teams MUST provide their own goalie. Goalies are required to wear a neck protector and a chest pad. In addition, they can wear any other padding within reason.
  • Players (not playing) and coaches will reside in the "bench area"
  • Players in the "bench area" cannot touch the curtain. We expect coaches to enforce this.
  • No parents are allowed on the field at any time
  • Players will have 1-5 minutes to warm up. Coaches will provide balls for their teams warm up. No balls are allowed in the "bench area".
  • Faceoff setup - For the 2 faceoffs each game, the players NOT facing off must be behind the white line (behind the goal). Once a team has possession, then players are released into play. Players can either set up behind their own goal OR the opposing teams goal.

Point System

Teams will be given 1 point for a win and 0 points for a loss. Tiebreakers are (in-order): Head-to-head, forfeits, Goal Differential (GD), Goals Allowed (GA), Goals For (GF)
