House of Sports Welcomes Alyssa Murray as Director of Girls Volleyball
Ardsley, N.Y. – The House of Sports announces the hiring of Alyssa Murray as Director of Girls Volleyball. In this role, Murray will oversee the House of Sports' volleyball club program, clinics and camps.
Alyssa Murray joins a staff of sports directors led by Sports Programming head Dale Mueller.
“We are very excited to have Alyssa join the House of Sports leadership team,” Mueller said. “Over the past five years the House of Sports has seen tremendous growth in our volleyball programming, and we are confident that under Alyssa's guidance we will continue this trend.”
A Westchester native, Murray began her volleyball career as a four-year Varsity letter winner at the setter position. After graduating from Marist College, she started coaching youth volleyball as she returned to Westchester County. Over the past two decades Murray has held volleyball leadership roles at the JV, Varsity and Club levels. She is currently the Varsity Head Coach at The Ursuline School in New Rochelle as well as a teacher in Yonkers.
“Volleyball in Westchester County has been part of my life since I was in High School," Murray said. "I am excited to lead the House of Sports volleyball department and continue building one of the area's most well-rounded programs."
