COVID-19 Protocols and Best Practices

At House of Sports, our primary concern is the health and safety of our customers, staff, and all of their families. We are taking all possible measures to protect everyone who enters the facility. Please see below new protocols and best practices to facilitate that social distancing is followed, and the facility remains clean and safe:

  1. House of Sports strictly adheres to all CDC, New York State, and Westchester County Health Department guidelines and mandates;
  2. All employees will be vaccinated by September 7th, 2021;
  3. All employees will continue to wear face masks at all times in the facility and will be required to wash or sanitize their hands regularly throughout their shifts;
  4. Dedicated cleaning crew continuously disinfect player benches, restrooms, and common areas with new Electrostatic Foggers containing virus-killing Botanical Disinfectant Solution;
  5. Masks are not required to be worn by vaccinated customers and/or spectators.
  6. All participants enrolled in a HOS run programming will be required to wear masks on and off courts and fields, even if the individual is vaccinated;
  7. Any customer, not participating in youth HOS run programming, who is fully vaccinated will not be required to wear a face mask;
  8. Additional hand sanitizer stations have been placed throughout the facility and are continuously refilled;
  9. Facility square footage is sufficient to allow social distancing;
  10. Increased ventilation has ben put in place throughout the facility;
  11. Please stay home if you have a fever or cold and/or flu-like symptoms.  Temporal thermometer scans will be utilized for select programs and are available at Guest Services.

All above guidelines regarding youth mask wearing are specific to HOS programming. While some policies apply to all customers, youth user groups that rent courts or fields at the facility can adjust mask policies during programming as long as they sill abide by NY State, Westchester County and CDC guidelines. As Covid 19 is a fluid situation and guidelines may change, these protocols and best practices are subject to change by Westchester Skating Academy at any time at the sole discretion of management in order to maximize customer and employee safety.

Thank you for your understanding, and we look forward to seeing you in the near future.
