House of Sports & True Lacrosse

True Lacrosse and House of Sports have entered a partnership which will see the formation of the True Westchester Girls Club Lacrosse.

House of Sports Girls Lacrosse will retain and offer our popular Training Academy, Winter League, Camps & Clinics. 

Starting in the Fall of 2025, True Lacrosse and House of Sports in Westchester, New York, have entered a partnership which will see the formation of the True Westchester Girls Club Lacrosse program. House of Sports’ girls club lacrosse programming will transition to become a local True program for girls in the Westchester area. The House of Sports facility will serve as headquarters for True Westchester, while remaining a vital part of the community as it continues to operate in its current capacity with training classes, camps and leagues. 

Leading the True Westchester Girls Program will be True Westchester Girls program will be Aleya Corretjer. A 2018 graduate of North Rockland High School, Corretjer played at the varsity lacrosse level since she was in 8th grade. During her five years on varsity, she helped her team win three sectional championships and earned such honors as High School All-American, Rockland County Female Athlete of the Year, and Journal News Player of the Year. She is #7 in the NYSPHSAA record books for most career assists. She continued her lacrosse career at Pace University, where she and her team made history for the school by winning the 2023 National Championship, the first championship win in program and school history. That same year, she was awarded DII Attacker of the Year, NE10 Attacker of the Year, and IWLCA First Team All American. She holds records at Pace for most assists in a game, season, career, and also most points in a season. Corretjer is a member of the Puerto Rico National Lacrosse Team, and will compete in the World Championship Qualifiers in June 2025. She has coached lacrosse at Metro Girls Lacrosse Club for the last five years and has coached players in grades 5th-11th. She volunteered with the women’s lacrosse program at SUNY New Paltz, and is currently the varsity head coach at Ethical Culture Fieldston School in the Bronx. 

Blake Balcaen, director of the True Westchester boys program and territory manager for all True New York programs, is confident this merger will be the start of a successful True Westchester Girls program. 

True Westchester Girls will host inaugural tryouts for their 2025-2026 travel teams on July 9th and 10th.
