Players will register as free agents.
On play day, participants will be assigned to teams.
Depending on enrollment, weekly games may be:
Pick-up style matchups to maximize gameplay. Goal 7v7 play
Club and town team players will stay together whenever possible.
The focus of this league is on skill development, participation, and enjoyment.
No Coach Required
Depending on enrollment, weekly games may be:
Pick-up style matchups to maximize gameplay
6v6 Play: 5 field players + 1 goalie
Field Size: 40 x 40 yards
Game Length: Two 20-minute halves with a 5-minute halftime (total game time: 45 minutes)
No Timeouts
Out of Bounds: No stoppages — play the ball off the walls. (Referee discretion if the ball is unplayable.)
Offside: None — players may move freely up and down the field (plays like basketball).
Goalie Clears: After each goal scored by the team playing defense
Once defense clears the ball past the set restraining they are set to play attack
Must include one attempted pass following the clear before attacking the goal.
All fouls are indirect, unless repeated or occur within the 8-meter area (Referee’s discretion).
Full Checking is the default unless both teams and the referee agree to Modified Checking before the game.
The game may switch from Full to Modified Checking during play if safety becomes a concern.
We encourage player development, but player safety always comes first.
