To promote fair and competitive play, the Winter League features two divisions based on player experience and program strength.
While the NYSPHSAA uses four classes and multiple leagues to create parity, we achieve similar balance through these divisions:
Typically composed of 11th, 12th, or Varsity-level players
May also include teams from programs with a strong record of success
Typically composed of 8th, 9th, 10th, or JV-level players
Designed for developing teams and programs that are still building experience
Note: House of Sports reserves the right to review and adjust team placement to ensure the most competitive matchups possible.

10v10 (3 Attack, 3 Midfield, 3 Defense, 1 Goalie)
Field Size: Full field – 80 x 40 yards
Running Clock: No timeouts (including injuries)
60-Second Shot Clock: Adjusted for field size
FPS (Free Position Shots) if Time Expires:
1st Half: All awarded shots will be taken
2nd Half: Shots only taken if the score differential is 1 goal or less
Out of Bounds: Play the ball off the walls (referee discretion if unplayable)
Offsides: Must keep 3 players behind midfield at all times
Possession & Restarts:
Draws at the start of each quarter and after every 4th goal
Goalie clear on all other possessions
Contact: Full checking allowed
